The $50,000 Sneakers Owned by Outkast’s Big Boi

We’ve seen diamonds on sneakers before in the form of removable accessories like the Kickbars and Ends for your laces but Outkast’s Big Boi is the proud owner of a pair of $50,000 Nikes with the diamonds studded on to the shoe. Big Boi, whose real name is Antwan Patton, received the shoes this week for free from Atlanta retailers Laced Up Boutique and Priyya and Chintans Diamonds. The sneakers are Air Force 1 “So Cals” which have been jazzed up with 11 carats worth of champagne diamonds around the Nike swoosh (check out the big picture in the gallery below for detail). The shoes without the fancy upgrade sell for $225.

The $50,000 shoes are available for special order and you can get a pair in time for Christmas if you order soon. It three to four weeks to complete the jewelry work.

Cheri Dennis “Portrait of Love” Music Video

I love Cheri Dennis for her songs like “I love You”, “Oh La La”, and “So Complete”. I was a little disapointed with her album on itunes because I had a hard time grasping the direction of her music. Half of the album was descent. This video is the same. The way she looks in the camera should have been edited into a fantasy like fogs because she looked lost. I want her to be the superstar she deserve to be but honestly, just like how they decided to develop Cassie, they should develop Cheri on certain aspect. I’ve seen Cheri perform before and she is amazing! (Unlike her labelmate) So this video has a very nice clean image look to it, I’m loving the colors, I don’t get the white sneakers she wore, I’m lovin her curly hair do, but the look in the camera could have been better. I am loving the song! One and a Half Thumb Up!

Snoop Dogg “Sensual Seduction” Music Video

This is definately creative and an odd choice for a labeled Ganster Rapper such as Snoop but I like it. The song is dope. I can replay it on repeat for hours and not get annoyed. Umm…maybe…I don’t know! I haven’t tried it. But you get the point! Two Thumbs Up!!

Artist Watch: Keisha Chante

This girl is from Toronto, Canada. I know how hard it is to survive as an artist solely from Canadian sales because I had friends in the business up there that couldn’t pay up their bills. So the natural progression is to sign in America. Keisha has a deal on Sony but for some reason never came out or had a proper promotion. Hint: Beyonce is the superstar of that label. It’s a shame because she can sing, dance and has a commercial image (Puertorican/Trinidadian/Portugese). What more can you ask for? Oh right…: Team. That’s what usually happens. Well regardless, I’m going to post up Artists I find dope. Check her out!

Chris Brown was Rumored to be in an Intimate Relationship with his Manager, Tina Davis, since he was 16.

I have just received word of a huge scandal which threatens to disrupt the Chris Brown/Bow Wow tour. The tour kicks off on December 6 in Cincinnati. Normally I wouldn’t report a story like this without solid proof. But my source is well-placed and very credible.

This is the same source who gave me the scoop on Tameka Foster’s pregnancy before anyone else reported it. I have learned never to doubt my source.

The young girls who have followed Chris Brown’s career since the beginning will not be happy with this news.

Apparently, rumors are flying about Chris Brown and his manager. The drama behind the scenes has become so disruptive that it threatens the start of the tour. My source tells me exclusively that Chris Brown has been intimate with his manger since she met him at the tender age of 16! And furthermore, he is “madly in love with her.”

For those who are not familiar with her, Chris Brown’s manager was the Senior Vice President of A&R at Def Jam when she met the young singer and attempted to sign him. She was also instrumental in signing Ne-Yo to Def Jam.

When Def Jam merged with Roc-A-Fella Records, she was forced to resign. According to Chris, who was by then smitten with the older woman, “When that happened, I asked her to be my manager, and she was happy to. She took me to Warner Brothers and Jive to look for other deals, and I ended up picking Jive at the end of the day.”

This explains why Chris has never been known to have a girlfriend. Apparently, Chris’ mom Joyce recently became aware of the situation and is not at all happy. “That’s where the drama comes in,” says my source. They say a mother always knows – but the happy couple managed to keep their relationship under wraps for 2 years.
